Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
