(Recount to them about the time) when Your Lord called Moses: "Go to the wrong-doing people, 10 "The people of the Pharaoh: will they not fear Allah?" 11 : He said: "O Lord, I fear that they will deny me. 12 "And my breast straitens, and my tongue expresses not well. So send for Harun (Aaron) (to come along with me). 13 As for me, they hold the charge of a crime against me. I fear they will put me to death." 14 He said, “Not like this (any more); both of you go with Our signs, We are with you, All Hearing.” 15 go both to Pharaoh and both of you say to him: 'We are (each) a Messenger from the Lord of all the Worlds. 16 [Commanded to say], "Send with us the Children of Israel."'" 17 The Pharaoh said, "Did we not bring you up in our home as an infant and did you not live with us for many years 18 And thou didst the deed thou didst, being one of the ungrateful!' 19 He said: I did it then, when I was of those who are astray. 20 so I fled from you, fearing you. But my Lord gave me Judgment and made me one of the Envoys. 21 That is a blessing thou reproachest me with, having enslaved the Children of Israel.' 22 Said Firaun, “And what is the Lord Of The Creation? 23 (Moses) said: "The Lord and Cherisher of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- if ye want to be quite sure." 24 'Do you not hear' said he (Pharaoh) to those around him. 25 He said: your Lord and the Lord of your ancient fathers. 26 Fir'awn said: verily your apostle who hath been sent unto you is mad. 27 He said, 'The Lord of the East and West, and what between them is, if you have understanding,' 28 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "If you choose an ilah (god) other than me, I will certainly put you among the prisoners." 29 (Moses) said: "Even if I showed you something clear (and) convincing?" 30 Said he: Bring it then, if you are of the truthful ones. 31 (No sooner had he said this than) Moses threw down his rod and behold, it was a veritable serpent, 32 And he drew forth his hand, and lo! it was white unto the beholders. 33
