The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 Then thereby raise dust, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
