۞ Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I exhort you unto one thing only: that ye awake, for Allah's sake, by twos and singly, and then reflect: There is no madness in your comrade. He is naught else than a warner unto you in face of a terrific doom. 46 Say: "No reward have I ever asked of you [out of anything] that is yours: my reward rests with none but God, and He is witness unto everything!" 47 Say: "My Lord casts the truth: He is the knower of things unknown." 48 Say: The truth has come, and the falsehood shall vanish and shall not come back. 49 Say: 'If I go astray, I go astray only to my own loss; if I am guided, it is by what my Lord reveals to me. He is All-hearing, Ever-nigh.' 50 And couldst thou see the time when they shall be terrified! Then there shall be no escaping, and they shall be laid hold of from a place quite nigh. 51 and will cry, "We do [now] believe in it!" But how can they [hope to] attain [to salvation] from so far away, 52 since they disbelieved in it before, guessing at the Unseen from a distant place? 53 And a barrier is set between them and that which they desire, as it was done before with their like; they were in suspicious doubt' 54
