THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
