Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Ha'. Mim. 1 A sending down from the Merciful, the Most Merciful. 2 A Book whose verses have been distinguished and explained, a lucid discourse for people who understand, 3 one bearing good news and warning. Yet most of them turned away and are not wont to give heed. 4 And say: "Our hearts are immured against what you call us to. There is a deafness in our ears, and a veil lies between us and you. So act (your way), we are acting (ours)." 5 Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “Physically I am a human like you – I receive the divine revelation that your God is only One God, therefore be upright towards Him and seek forgiveness from Him”; and woe is to the polytheists. – 6 who pay not the alms, and disbelieve in the world to come. 7 Indeed for those who believed and did good deeds, is a limitless reward. 8
