▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
Those who fear their Lord will have two gardens 46 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 47 Having numerous branches. 48 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 49 With two springs of water flowing through them both. -- 50 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 51 Wherein is every kind of fruit in pairs. 52 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 53 Reclining on carpets whereof the linings will be of brocade; and the fruit of the two Gardens shall be near at hand. 54 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 55 There will be bashful maidens untouched by mankind or jinn before. 56 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 57 [When you are promised splendours] as though [of] rubies and [of] pearls 58 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 59 Is the reward of goodness aught but goodness? 60 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 61 And below them both [in excellence] are two [other] gardens - 62 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 63 Both inclining to blackness. 64 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 65 In both of them are two springs, spouting. 66 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 67 In them (both) will be fruits, and date- palms and pomegranates. 68 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 69 Therein will be maidens chaste and beautiful. 70 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 71 [There the blest will live with their] companions pure and modest, in pavilions [splendid] 72 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 73 Untouched before them by man or jinni - 74 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 75 [In such a paradise will they dwell,] reclining upon meadows green and carpets rich in beauty. 76 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, the Lord of Majesty and Glory. 78
God the Almighty always says the truth.
