The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
