And those that emigrated in God's cause after they were wronged -- We shall surely lodge them in this world in a goodly lodging, and the wage of the world to come is greater, did they but know; 41 such are those who are patient, and put their trust in their Lord. 42 The Messengers whom We sent before you were mere mortals to whom We had sent with miracles and revelations. Ask those who know about the heavenly Books if you do not know about this. 43 [We sent them] with clear signs and scriptures. We have sent down the Reminder to you, to enable you to make clear to mankind what has been sent down to them, so that they may reflect upon it. 44 Do they feel secure, those who devise evil things, that God will not cause the earth to swallow them, or that the chastisement will not come upon them, from whence they are not aware? 45 Or, that he will not take hold of them in their going to and fro! so that they cannot escape. 46 Or He may seize them by diminishing their portion. Yet your Lord is compassionate and kind. 47 Have they not observed the things which Allah hath created? shadows thereof turn themselves on the right and on the left prostrating themselves unto Allah, and they are lowly. 48 And unto Allah maketh prostration whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth of living creatures, and the angels (also) and they are not proud. 49 They fear their Lord above them, and they do what they are commanded. ۩ 50
