▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for him who fears to stand before his Lord are two gardens. 46 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 47 Having [spreading] branches. 48 Which of the favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 49 In both of them, there are two springs flowing. 50 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 51 Therein are two kinds of every fruit. 52 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 53 (They shall) recline on couches lined with brocade, and the fruits of the Gardens will be near at hand. 54 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 55 Therein are those of modest gaze, whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them. 56 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 57 (In beauty) they are like rubies and coral. 58 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 59 Can the reward of goodness be any other than goodness? 60 Which of the laudable attributes of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 61 And besides these two other gardens -- 62 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 63 Dark green (in colour). 64 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 65 In [each of] these two [gardens] will two springs gush forth. 66 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 67 In both gardens there will be fruits, palm-trees, and pomegranates 68 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 69 Therein (gardens) will be fair (wives) good and beautiful; 70 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? - 71 with big, black and white beautiful eyes, dwelling in tents. 72 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 73 Whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them. 74 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 75 Reclining on green cushions and rich beautiful mattresses. 76 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 77 Blessed is the Name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Grace. 78
