And it is He Who has created ears and eyes and hearts for you; very little is the right you acknowledge. 78 And He has multiplied you through the earth, and to Him shall ye be gathered back. 79 And He it is Who quickeneth and causeth to die, and His is the alternation of night and day; will ye not then reflect? 80 Nay, but they say the like of what the men of old said. 81 they say: "What! After we have died and become mere dust and bones, shall we, forsooth, be raised from the dead? 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before. It is but of the ancients' fictitious tales' 83 Say: "Unto whom belongs the earth and all that lives there on? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 84 They will say: "To God." Say: "Then why do you not bethink yourselves?" 85 Say: "Then who is the Lord of the seven skies? And who is the Lord of the mighty Throne?" 86 They will quickly say, "It is God." Say, "Will you not then have fear of Him?" 87 Say: 'In whose hand is the dominion of everything, protecting and Himself unprotected, if you have knowledge?' 88 They will say, "All this belongs to God." Say to them, "How are you then deluded?" 89 We have revealed to them the truth. But they are certainly liars. 90 God has never given birth to a son and there is no other god besides Him. If there were, each god would have taken away his creatures and claimed superiority over the others. God is too exalted to be as they believe Him to be. 91 He knows what is hidden and what is open: too high is He for the partners they attribute to Him! 92
