Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
