The warnings came also to Pharaoh's folk. 41 but they rejected all Our miracles. So We seized them in the way that a Majestic and All-powerful One would. 42 Are you disbelievers mightier than those of the nations which We destroyed before or have you received amnesty through the ancient Scriptures? 43 Or they say, “We shall all take revenge as a group.” 44 The army will be routed and put to flight. 45 In fact their promise is upon the Last Day – and the Last Day is very severe and very bitter! 46 Truly those in sin are the ones straying in mind, and mad. 47 On the Day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire, (it will be said to them): 'Taste the touch of the Scorching' 48 Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. 49 And Our command is but one (word) swift as the winking of an eye. 50 And We destroyed those like you, is there any that will remember! 51 All their deeds are recorded in the Scrolls; 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 As to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers, 54 In an Assembly of Truth, in the Presence of a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
