Lo! for those who keep from evil are gardens of bliss with their Lord. 34 What, shall we make those who have surrendered like to the sinners? 35 What is [the matter] with you? How do you judge? 36 Or have you a book wherein you read, 37 That you can surely have whatever you choose? 38 Or have you received from Us an agreement confirmed by an oath extending to the day of resurrection that you shall surely have what you demand? 39 Ask them, which of them will guarantee that! 40 Or do they have partners? Then let them bring their partners, if they should be truthful. 41 On the day when the terrible torment approaches, they will be told (in a mocking way) to prostrate themselves, but they will not be able to do it. 42 Their looks cast down, abasement shall overtake them; and they were called upon to make obeisance indeed while yet they were safe. 43 Let Me alone with him who belieth this discourse; step by step We lead them on when they perceive not. 44 Yet I will give them respite: Surely My plan is compact. 45 Or dost thou (Muhammad) ask a fee from them so that they are heavily taxed? 46 Or [do they think] that the hidden reality [of all that exists] is within their grasp, so that [in time] they can write it down? 47 So wait patiently for the judgment of your Lord, and be not like the companion of the fish, when he cried while he was in distress. 48 If not that a favor from his Lord overtook him, he would have been thrown onto the naked shore while he was censured. 49 But his Lord chose him and placed him among the righteous. 50 And indeed the disbelievers seem as if they would topple you with their evil gaze when they hear the Qur’an, and they say, “He is indeed insane.” 51 Whilst it is no more than reminder for the people of the world. 52
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
