The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Woe to the stinters; 1 who demand of other people full measure for themselves, 2 Whilst when they measure or weigh for them, give less. 3 Do they not think they will be raised (to life) again 4 On a grievous day, 5 The day all mankind will stand before the Lord of all the worlds? 6 Nay! Truly, the Record (writing of the deeds) of the Fujjar (disbelievers, sinners, evil-doers and wicked) is (preserved) in Sijjin. 7 What could let you know what the Sijjeen is! 8 it is a written record. 9 Ah the woe that day for those who deny, 10 Those who belie the Day of Requital. 11 No one rejects it except the sinful transgressors 12 When Our communications are recited to him, he says: Stories of those of yore. 13 No indeed! Their own deeds have cast a veil over their hearts. 14 No indeed, on that Day they shall be veiled from their Lord. 15 and then they shall enter Hell, 16 They will then be told: "This is what you had denied." 17 No! Indeed, the record of the righteous is in 'illiyyun. 18 And what will make you know what 'Illiyyun is? 19 It is a comprehensively written Book (of records). 20 To which bear witness those Nearest (to Allah). 21 Verily the virtuous shall be in Bliss; 22 On thrones, looking (at all things). 23 and in their faces you shall know the radiance of bliss. 24 They are made to quaff of a pure drink that is sealed (to others). 25 The seal thereof will be Musk: And for this let those aspire, who have aspirations: 26 And admixture thereof will be Water of Tasnim: 27 A fountain whereof will drink those brought nigh. 28 Indeed the guilty used to laugh at the believers. 29 when them passed them by winking at one another, 30 When they returned to their people they returned jesting; 31 And when they saw them, they said: Most surely these are in error; 32 No one has appointed them to watch over the believers. 33 so today those who believe shall [be able to] laugh at those who denied the truth 34 upon couches gazing. 35 Surely the disbelievers are rewarded as they did. 36

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
