The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who created and proportioned 2 Who determines and directs, 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
