Noah's folk denied the messengers (of Allah), 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 so serve you God, and obey you me. 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They said: Shall we put faith in thee, when the lowest (of the people) follow thee? 111 He said, “What do I know what their deeds are?” 112 It is only for my Lord to take account of them. Would that you made use of your understanding! 113 And I am not going to drive away the believers; 114 I am only a plain warner. 115 They said, 'If thou givest not over, Noah, thou shalt assuredly be one of the stoned.' 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me." 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones. 120 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
