Tell them, (O Prophet): “I am nothing but a warner. There is no deity but Allah, the One, the Supreme, 65 He is the Lord of the heavens, the earth, and all that is between them, the Majestic and All-forgiving". 66 Say: 'This is a mighty message 67 Whence ye turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 I am told (about matters) by means of revelation only because I am a clear warner.” 70 Recall what time thy Lord said unto the angels: verily I am about to create a human being from clay; 71 And when I have made him and have breathed into him of My spirit. Fall down in homage before him." 72 The angels prostrated themselves, all of them. 73 except Iblis. He waxed proud and became one of the unbelievers. 74 Said Allah, “O Iblis! What prevented you from prostrating before one whom I have created with My hands*? Have you become proud or were you haughty from the beginning?” (Used as a metaphor). 75 He said, "I am better than him. You have created me from fire and him out of clay". 76 The Lord said, "Get out of here. You deserve to be stoned! 77 My curse will remain upon you till the Day of Judgement!" 78 Said he, 'My Lord, respite me till the day they shall be raised.' 79 (Allah) said: "Respite then is granted thee- 80 till the Day whose Hour I know.” 81 He said: Then, by Thy might, I surely will beguile them every one, 82 "Except Your chosen slaves amongst them (faithful, obedient, true believers of Islamic Monotheism)." 83 He (Allah) said: 'This is the truth, and I speak the truth: 84 That I shall fill hell with thee and with such of them as follow thee, together. 85 (Muhammad), say, "I do not ask any reward for my preaching to you for I am not a pretender. 86 This is only a warning for mankind. 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
