Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
I CALL TO WITNESS those who are sent consecutively, 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force! 2 By those which cause earth's vegetation to revive; 3 Then by those that clearly differentiate the right and wrong. 4 and those (angels) dropping, reminding 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 When the stars are obliterated, 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust; 10 and when the Messengers' time is set 11 To what day is the doom fixed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients 16 We shall then send the latter after them. 17 [for] thus do We deal with such as are lost in sin. 18 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 The which We placed in a place of rest, firmly fixed, 21 Till a limit known? 22 Thus We arranged. How excellent is Our arranging! 23 Woe, on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself, 25 For the living and the dead, 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 28 (It will be said:) "Depart ye to that which ye used to reject as false! 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 “Which neither gives shade, nor saves from the flame.” 31 and throwing up sparks as huge as towers 32 and as bright as a herd of yellow camels. 33 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 34 That will be a Day when they shall not speak (during some part of it), 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 This is the Day of Decision; We have gathered you and all the earlier men. 38 If you are cunning, then try your cunning against Me! 39 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 40
