The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
