Say: I am only a warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all): 65 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the most Forgiving. 66 Say: 'It is a mighty tiding 67 Whence ye turn away! 68 I have no knowledge of the dispute among the angels (concerning their attitude towards Adam). 69 This alone is revealed to me, that I am only a clear warner.' 70 When thy Lord said unto the angels: Lo! I am about to create a mortal out of mire, 71 And when I have made him and have breathed into him of My spirit. Fall down in homage before him." 72 And the angels did obeisance, all of them, 73 except Iblis. He waxed proud and became one of the unbelievers. 74 The Lord said, "Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating before what I have created with My own hands? Was it because of your pride or are you truly exalted?" 75 Satan replied, "I am better than him. You created me from fire, but You created him from clay." 76 He said, “Therefore exit from heaven, for you have been outcast.” (To disrespect the Prophets – peace and blessings be upon them – is blasphemy.) 77 Upon thee shall rest My curse, till the Day of Doom.' 78 He said: My Lord! then respite me to the day that they are raised. 79 He said: Surely you are of the respited ones, 80 "Till the Day of the time appointed." 81 He said, "By Your Honour, I will lead all of them astray, 82 except Your sincere servants among them". 83 God said, "This is the truth, I speak only the truth, 84 I will fill up Hell with you and every one of them who follows you." 85 Say: "I do not ask any compensation of you for it, nor am I a specious pretender. 86 It is but a reminder to the worlds. 87 "And ye shall certainly know the truth of it (all) after a while." 88
