The Comet (Al-Taareq)

17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

I CALL TO witness the heavens and the night Star -- 1 And what can make you know what is the night comer? 2 - The piercing Star! 3 For every soul there is a watcher. 4 So let man observe from what he was created. 5 He is created from a water dripping, 6 Coming from between the back and the ribs. 7 Indeed Allah is Able to return him. 8 upon the day when the secrets are tried, 9 Then man will have no power or any helper. 10 By the heaven which returneth, 11 by earth splitting with verdure, 12 surely it is a decisive word; 13 And it is not a thing for amusement. 14 Verily they are plotting a plot. 15 And I am planning a scheme. 16 Give respite to the disbelievers and leave them alone for a while. 17

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
