The warnings also came to Pharaoh's people, 41 They denied Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with a seizure of one Exalted in Might and Perfect in Ability. 42 Are your unbelievers (of Makkah) any better than they? Or have you been granted any immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We are a group united, [and therefore] bound to prevail"? 44 Their multitude will be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 Nay, but the Hour (of doom) is their appointed tryst, and the Hour will be more wretched and more bitter (than their earthly failure). 46 for, behold, those who are lost in sin [will at that time come to know that it is they who] were sunk in error and folly! 47 when they will be dragged on their faces into the fire and will be told, "Feel the touch of hell". 48 We have created everything to fulfill a certain purpose. 49 And Our command is but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you; is there any that will remember? 51 And everything they did is in written records. 52 And everything small and great is written down. 53 Surely those who shun disobedience will dwell amidst Gardens and running streams 54 In the seat of honor with a most Powerful King. 55
God the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
