The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the glorious morning light; 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 (Muhammad), your Lord has not abandoned you (by not sending you His revelation), nor is He displeased with you. 3 for, indeed, the life to come will be better for thee than this earlier part [of thy life]! 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and then gave you shelter? 6 And find you lost (that is, unrecognized by men) and guide (them to you)? 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 Therefore, the orphan shalt thou never wrong, 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 And proclaim the Grace of your Lord (i.e. the Prophethood and all other Graces). 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
