3/4 Hizb 37
< random >
۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to (all) the Cities, 53 'Behold, these are a small troop, 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 So We expelled them from gardens, springs, 57 and treasures and a noble station; 58 So it was; and We made the Descendants of Israel its inheritors. 59 At sunrise they set off in pursuit of them 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 And We saved Moosa and all those with him. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 In this there was certainly evidence (of the Truth), but most of them did not have any faith. 67 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
