And Nuh's people belied the sent ones. 105 When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, “Shall we believe in you, whereas the abject people are with you?” 111 He said: "And what knowledge have I of what they used to do? 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said: "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned (to death)." 116 He said: My Lord! Surely my people give me the lie! 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 and drowned the rest. 120 In this there is evidence (of the truth) but most of them do not have any faith. 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
