And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and at night.
