And remember Our servant Job, when he called to his Lord, "Indeed, Satan has touched me with hardship and torment." 41 [and thereupon was told:] "Strike [the ground] with thy foot: here is cool water to wash with and to drink!" 42 And We gave him (back) his family, and along with them the like thereof, as a Mercy from Us, and a Reminder for those who understand. 43 (We said to him): 'Take a bundle of rushes and strike with it; and do not break your oath' We found him to be patient, a good worshiper and he was penitent. 44 And remember thou Our bondmen, Ibrahim and Is-haq and Ya'qub, owners of might and insight. 45 for, verily, We purified them by means of a thought most pure: the remembrance of the life to come. 46 In Our eyes they were of the chosen, virtuous people. 47 And remember Ismail and Al-Yasha and Zulkifl; and they were all of the best. 48 This is a commemoration. Surely for those who take heed for themselves is an excellent place of return -- 49 They will enter gardens of Eden with their gates open for them. 50 Therein will they recline (at ease): Therein can they call (at pleasure) for fruit in abundance, and (delicious) drink; 51 ۞ having beside them well-matched mates of modest gaze." 52 All this is what you are promised for the Day of Judgement. 53 Indeed this is Our sustenance, which will never end. 54 This [is so]. But indeed, for the transgressors is an evil place of return - 55 they will burn, in Hell, an evil resting place -- 56 All this; so let them taste it - boiling water and pus, 57 And similar other punishments in pairs. 58 This is an army plunging in without consideration along with you; no welcome for them, surely they shall enter fire. 59 (The followers of the misleaders will say): "Nay, you (too)! No welcome for you! It is you (misleaders) who brought this upon us (because you misled us in the world), so evil is this place to stay in!" 60 They will continue saying, "Lord, double the torment of fire for those who led us into this. 61 But why is it that we cannot see men whom we had considered as wicked 62 Did we take them (wrongly) for a laughing-stock, or have our eyes missed them? 63 Verily, that is the very truth, the mutual dispute of the people of the Fire! 64
