Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 which then blow tempestuously 2 by (the angels) spreading (the words of God) far and wide, 3 Then separate them one from another, 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 To end all argument or to warn. 6 Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass. 7 When the stars shall be extinguished, 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 The mountains reduced to dust and blown away, 10 and when the messengers are brought together at the appointed time -- 11 For what Day was it postponed? 12 The Day of Judgement. 13 And what do you know, what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 15 Destroyed We not the former folk, 16 So shall We make the later ones to follow them. 17 [for] thus do We deal with such as are lost in sin. 18 On that day, woe upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 19 Did We not create you from a weak water, 20 Then We lodged you in a secure place (the womb) 21 for a term pre-ordained? 22 Then We facilitated (your birth). How well do We calculate! 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Did We not make the earth a storehouse? 25 For the living and the dead. 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 28 (It will be said to the disbelievers): "Depart you to that which you used to deny! 29 Depart into the shadow of three masses, 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 The fire will shoot out sparks as big as huge towers 32 Seeming like yellow camels. 33 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 34 That will be the Day on which they will not (be able to) utter a word, 35 nor be allowed to proffer excuses! 36 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 37 That will be a Day of Decision! We have brought you and the men of old together! 38 So if you have a plan, plan against Me (now). 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40
