Yet man says: "When I am dead, will I come to life again?" 66 Does man not remember that We created him before, while he was nothing? 67 So by your Lord! We will most certainly gather them together and the Shaitans, then shall We certainly cause them to be present round hell on their knees. 68 and then We will draw aside from each party those who were most rebellious against the Most Compassionate Lord, 69 Then, verily, We know best those who are most worthy of being burnt therein. 70 There is not one of you but shall approach it. That is a fixed ordinance of thy Lord. 71 And once again: We shall save [from hell] those who have been conscious of Us; but We shall leave in it the evildoers, on their knees. 72 When Our clear revelations are recited to them, those who deny the truth say to the faithful, "Which of the two sides is better in respect of position and makes a more impressive assembly?" 73 How numerous are the peoples We destroyed before them - those that were more resourceful and grander in outward appearance! 74 Say: "The Most Compassionate Lord grants respite to those who stray into error, until they behold what they had been threatened with, either God's chastisement (in the world) or the Hour (of Resurrection)" - then they fully know whose station is worse, and who is weaker in hosts! 75 God increases His guidance to those who follow guidance; and lasting good works are better in the sight of your Lord and are most rewarding. 76 So have you seen him who denied Our signs and says, “I shall certainly be given wealth and children?” 77 Has he obtained knowledge of the Unseen, or has he taken a covenant with the Most Compassionate Lord? 78 On the contrary, We will write down what he says and prolong the length of his punishment. 79 And it is We only Who shall inherit what he says (belongs to him), and he will come to Us, alone. 80 They have taken other gods apart from God that they might be a strength to them. 81 By no means! anon they shall deny their worship, and become unto them an adversary. 82
