When your Lord called out to Moses, saying, "Go to the wrongdoing people, 10 "The people of the Pharaoh: will they not fear Allah?" 11 : He said: "O Lord, I fear that they will deny me. 12 I feel nervous and my tongue is not fluent, so send Aaron with me. 13 And they have a charge (of murder) against me. So I fear that they will kill me." 14 Allah said: "By no means! proceed then, both of you, with Our Signs; We are with you, and will listen (to your call). 15 They came to the Pharaoh and said, "We are the Messengers of the Lord of the Universe. 16 That you should send the children of Israel with us.' 17 (The Pharaoh) said: "Did we not bring you up as a child? And you lived a number of years of your life with us. 18 Yet you committed the deed you did, surely you are one of the ingrates." 19 He said: I did it then when I was mistaken. 20 Then I fled from you when I feared you, and my Lord bestowed on me wisdom and made me one of the sent ones. 21 And this is the favor with which you oblige me: You have made the Israelites your slaves. 22 Pharaoh said: "And what is the 'Lord and Cherisher of the worlds'?" 23 Said Moosa, “Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them; if you believe.” 24 Said he to those about him, 'Do you not hear?' 25 (Moses continued): "Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers before you." 26 Pharaoh said, "This messenger who has been sent to you is surely possessed!" 27 (Moses) said: "The Lord of the East and the Lord of the West and all that lies between them, if you have sense." 28 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "If you choose an ilah (god) other than me, I will certainly put you among the prisoners." 29 Musa (Moses) said: "Even if I bring you something manifest (and convincing)?" 30 Pharaoh said: "Then bring it if you are truthful at all." 31 Thereupon [Moses] threw down his staff - and lo! it was a serpent, plainly visible; 32 and he drew his hand (out of his armpit) and lo! it had become a shining object to the beholders. 33
