Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
