The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
