Al-Aadeyaat

The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By the snorting, panting horses, 1 and produce sparks 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 dividing the gathering. 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
