the Originator of the heavens and the earth! How could it be that He should have a child without there ever having been a mate for Him - since it is He who has created everything, and He alone knows everything? 101 Such is Allah, your Lord! La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Creator of all things. So worship Him (Alone), and He is the Wakil (Trustee, Disposer of affairs, Guardian, etc.) over all things. 102 Vision comprehendeth Him not, but He comprehendeth (all) vision. He is the Subtile, the Aware. 103 Means of insight have now come unto you from your Sustainer [through this divine writ]. Whoever, therefore, chooses to see, does so for his own good; and whoever chooses to remain blind, does so to his own hurt. And [say unto the blind of heart]: "I am not your keeper." 104 And this is how We explain Our verses in different ways that they (the disbelievers) may say to you, (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “You have studied” – and to make it clear for the people of knowledge. 105 Follow what thou art taught by inspiration from thy Lord: there is no god but He: and turn aside from those who join gods with Allah. 106 Had Allah willed, they had not been idolatrous. We have not set thee as a keeper over them, nor art thou responsible for them. 107 Do not revile those whom they invoke other than Allah, because they will revile Allah in ignorance out of spite. For We have indeed made the deeds of every people seem fair to them. Then, their return is to their Lord and He will inform them of what they have done. 108 And they swear by Allah their strongest oaths that if a sign came to them, they would surely believe in it. Say, "The signs are only with Allah." And what will make you perceive that even if a sign came, they would not believe. 109 We shall turn their hearts and their eyes, for they did not believe them at the very first, and leave them to wander perplexed in bewilderment. 110
