Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 Hence, be not in haste [to call down God's punishment] upon them: for We but number the number of their days. 84 The day We shall usher the righteous before Ar-Rahman like envoys into the presence of a king, 85 and drive those who were lost in sin unto hell as a thirsty herd is driven to a well 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 They say: "God has begotten a son." 88 You have uttered a grievous thing 89 Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 Due to their ascribing of an offspring to the Most Gracious. 91 It does not become the majesty of the Compassionate God to take to Himself a son: 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but will come to the Beneficent Allah as a servant. 93 He has counted them and numbered them precisely, 94 each one of them shall come to Him one by one on the Day of Judgement. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 So We have only made it easy in your tongue that you may give good news thereby to those who guard (against evil) and warn thereby a vehemently contentious people. 97 How numerous are the peoples that We destroyed before them! Do you now perceive any one of them, or hear even their whisper? 98
