Hizb 38
< random >
The nation of Noah, belied their Messengers. 105 when their brother Noah said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 so fear Allah, and obey me. 108 I seek of you no reward for this: my reward is with none except the Lord of the Universe. 109 So fear Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They said: Shall we put faith in thee, when the lowest (of the people) follow thee? 111 Said he: "And what knowledge could I have as to what they were doing [before they came to me]? 112 Their account is only with my Lord, if you could perceive 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said: if thou desistest not, thou shalt surely be of those stoned. 116 He said: "My Lord! My people have branded me a liar. 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 and drowned the others. 120 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not believers. 121 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 122
