Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 by (the angels) as swift as blowing winds, 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 separating one from another, 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 to provide excuses for some and to give warnings to others: 6 that which you have been promised shall be fulfilled. 7 Thus, [it will come to pass] when the stars are effaced, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 and the mountains scattered, 10 and when the Messengers' time is set 11 For what day is that time fixed? 12 For the Day of sorting out (the men of Paradise from the men destined for Hell). 13 And what could make thee conceive what that Day of Distinction will be? 14 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth. 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 Then did We follow them up with later ones. 17 Thus deal We ever with the guilty. 18 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 19 Created We you not of water despicable, 20 and place it in a secure place 21 for a term pre-ordained? 22 Thus did We Plan and how excellent is Our planning! 23 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 24 Did We not make the earth a receptacle, 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 and did We not firmly fix towering mountains on it and give you sweet water to drink? 27 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 28 (It will be said to the disbelievers): "Depart you to that which you used to deny! 29 Depart to a triple-massing shadow 30 "(Which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce Blaze. 31 Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress, 32 (Or) as it might be camels of bright yellow hue. 33 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 34 They will not be able to speak that day, 35 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 If you now have any conspiracy, carry it out on Me. 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40
