The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
Almighty God's Truth.
