Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Gross rivalry diverts you, 1 until you visit the graves. 2 Nay, but ye will come to know! 3 But you will soon come to know. 4 Nay, would that ye knew (now) with a sure knowledge! 5 You have indeed to behold Hell; 6 Then you will see it with the eye of certainty. 7 then you shall be questioned that day concerning true bliss. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
