Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
We have placed the signs of the Zodiac in the sky, and decked it out for those who can see; 16 And (moreover) We have guarded them from every cursed devil: 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and them doth a clear flame pursue. 18 And the earth! We have stretched it out and have cast thereon mountains firm, and We have caused to spring up thereon everything weighed. 19 And created livelihoods for you in it, and created those for whom you do not provide the sustenance. 20 And there is not a thing but its (sources and) treasures (inexhaustible) are with Us; but We only send down thereof in due and ascertainable measures. 21 And We have sent the fertilizing winds and sent down water from the sky and given you drink from it. And you are not its retainers. 22 It is We who give life, and make to die, and it is We who are the inheritors. 23 And certainly We know those of you who have gone before and We certainly know those who shall come later. 24 It is your Lord who will gather them. He is all wise and all knowing. 25
