The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin, Mim. 1 These are verses of the clear Book. 2 Belike thou shalt kill thyself with grief because they become not believers. 3 If We will, We can send down on them from the sky a portent so that their necks would remain bowed before it. 4 And no revelation comes to them anew from the Most Merciful except that they turn away from it. 5 So they have cried lies; therefore assuredly tidings will come to them of that they mocked at. 6 Have they not seen the earth, that how many honourable pairs We have created in it? 7 Verily, in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 8 Your Lord is the Majestic and the All-merciful. 9
