We did deliver aforetime the Children of Israel from humiliating Punishment, 30 From Firaun; he was indeed proud, among the transgressors. 31 And We knowingly chose them, among all others of their time. 32 And granted them Signs in which there was a manifest trial 33 Verily, these (Quraish) people are saying: 34 "That [which is ahead of us] is but our first [and only] death, and we shall not be raised to life again. 35 Bring back to us our fathers if you are truthful.” 36 Are they, then, better than the people of Tubba and those before them, whom We destroyed because they were truly lost in [the same] sin? 37 And We did not create the heavens and earth and that between them in play. 38 We created them not save with truth; but most of them know not. 39 Verily, the Day of Judgement (when Allah will judge between the creatures) is the time appointed for all of them, 40 On that Day no cousin shall help his cousin and they shall not be helped 41 Except such as receive Allah's Mercy: for He is Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 42
