Al-Naba' 2 of 2
Indeed, for the righteous is attainment - 31 Gardens and grapes. 32 maidens with pears-shaped breasts who are of equal age (to their spouses) 33 and an overflowing cup. 34 No empty talk will they hear in that [paradise,] nor any lie. 35 A reward from your Lord, a gift according to a reckoning: 36 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, the most Gracious [and] none shall have it in their power to raise their voices to Him. 37 On that day, the Spirit and the angels who stand in lines will not speak except those whom the Beneficent God has permitted, and he will speak the right words. 38 That is the True Day; so he who wills may take to his Lord a [way of] return. 39 Indeed, We have forewarned you of an imminent punishment, the Day when the person will look upon his works and the unbelievers will say: 'Would that I were dust' 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
