Hast thou not seen how We sent the Satans against the unbelievers, to prick them? 83 Hence, be not in haste [to call down God's punishment] upon them: for We but number the number of their days. 84 The day on which We will gather those who guard (against evil) to the Beneficent Allah to receive honors 85 and We shall drive the guilty ones to Hell as a thirsty herd. 86 On that Day none will have the power to intercede for them except those who received a sanction from the Most Compassionate Lord. 87 And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son." 88 You have indeed brought an extremely grave speech! 89 whereat the heavens might well-nigh be rent into fragments, and the earth be split asunder, and the mountains fall down in ruins! 90 That they should ascribe unto the Compassionate a son. 91 And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. 92 None is there in the heavens and earth but he comes to the All-merciful as a servant; 93 He has counted them and calculated their number. 94 And each of them is to come to Him on the Day of Judgment alone. 95 On those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, will (Allah) Most Gracious bestow love. 96 So We have only made it easy in your tongue that you may give good news thereby to those who guard (against evil) and warn thereby a vehemently contentious people. 97 How many generations We have destroyed before them! Can you find a single one of them alive now, or hear so much as a whisper from them? 98
