1/2 Hizb 35

O apostles! eat of the good things and do good; surely I know what you do. 51 And verily, this community of yours is one single community, since I am the Sustainer of you all: remain, then, conscious of Me! 52 But then they divided up their order into different creeds, each section rejoicing in what it had come to have. 53 Leave them in their perplexity for a time. 54 Do they think that by increasing their wealth and children 55 We hasten unto them with good things (in this worldly life so that they will have no share of good things in the Hereafter)? Nay, but they perceive not. 56 Surely those who live in awe of their Lord, 57 who have full faith in the Signs of their Lord; 58 And those who do not associate (aught) with their Lord, 59 and who give whatever they [have to] give with their hearts trembling at the thought that unto their Sustainer they must return: 60 it is they who vie with one another in doing good works and shall be the foremost in doing so. 61 We do not lay a burden on anyone beyond his capacity. We have a Book with Us that speaks the truth (about everyone); and they shall in no wise be wronged. 62 Aye! their hearts are in bewilderment in respect thereof, and they have works beside that, of which they are workers. 63 Till when We grasp their luxurious ones with the punishment, behold! they supplicate. 64 “Do not implore this day; you will not be helped by Us.” 65 My revelations were recited to you, but you turned your backs 66 and arrogantly mocked and reviled them. 67 Have they not pondered the saying, or came there upon them that which came not upon their fathers, the ancients? 68 Or is it that they did not recognize their Messenger (Muhammad SAW) so they deny him? 69 Or, say they: in him is madness? O Aye he brought them the truth, and most of them to the truth are averse. 70 Had truth been subject to their whims the heavens and the earth and all those within them would have been depraved. In fact We had sent them their reminder, but they turned away from good advice. 71 Or do you ask of them any tribute? In that case the tribute of your Lord is better, for He is the best of providers. 72 And indeed, you invite them to a straight path. 73 and surely they that believe not in the world to come are deviating from the path. 74 ۞ Did We have mercy on them, and remove the affliction that is upon them, they would persist in their insolence wandering blindly. 75 We already seized them with the chastisement, yet they abased not themselves to their Lord nor were they humble; 76 until We opened the gate of greater torment (death) and they suddenly found themselves in despair. 77
