We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
