We built the universe with Our might, giving it its vast expanse. 47 And the earth We have spread out, and excellent is the preparer. 48 And in everything have We created opposites, so that you might bear in mind [that God alone is One]. 49 Therefore flee unto God! I am a clear warner from Him to you. 50 And set not up with God another god; I am a clear warner from Him to you. 51 Thus has it been (in the past): never did a Messenger come to the nations that preceded them but they said: “(He is) a sorcerer, or a mad-man.” 52 What, have they bequeathed it one to another? Nay, but they are an insolent people. 53 Therefore turn away from them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), – so there is no blame upon you. 54 And continue to remind, for surely the reminder profits the believers. 55 And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me. 56 I desire from them no provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Surely, Allah is the Provider, the Possessor of Power, the Mighty. 58 And indeed, for those who have wronged is a portion [of punishment] like the portion of their predecessors, so let them not impatiently urge Me. 59 woe, then, to those who are bent on denying the truth, when the Day arrives which they have been promised. 60
