But nay! I swear by that which you see, 38 And by oath of those you do not see. 39 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger. 40 It is not the word of a poet: little it is ye believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer. Little is it that you reflect! 42 It has been sent down by the Lord of all the worlds. 43 Now if he [whom We have entrusted with it] had dared to attribute some [of his own] sayings unto Us, 44 We surely should have seized him by his right hand (or with power and might), 45 then, We would surely have cut from him the aorta (vein) 46 None of you would be able to prevent Us from doing this to him. 47 And most surely it is a reminder for those who guard (against evil). 48 And indeed, We know that among you are deniers. 49 And indeed it is a despair for the disbelievers. 50 yet indeed it is the truth of certainty. 51 Therefore-glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 52
