Nay; I swear by the moon, 32 And the night when on the wane, 33 And by the Dawn as it shineth forth,- 34 Verily, it (Hell, or their denial of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, or the Day of Resurrection) is but one of the greatest calamities. 35 it is a warning to man, 36 alike to every one of you, who want to go forward or hang back. 37 Each soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 save those who shall have attained to righteousness: 39 [Who will be] in gardens, questioning each other 40 about the sinners. 41 "What led you into Hell Fire?" 42 They will say: we have not been of those who prayed. 43 Nor did we used to feed the poor. 44 We indulged and persisted in useless disputes, 45 And we have been belying the Day of Requital. 46 till the Certain came to us.' -- 47 And so, of no benefit to them could be the intercession of any that would intercede for them. 48 Then what is wrong with them that they turn away from admonition, 49 As though they were asses startled. 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 In fact every one of them wants to be given open books (like the prophets). 52 By no means! Aye, they fear not the Hereafter. 53 but this is truly a reminder. 54 So, whoever wills, will remember it. 55 But they [who do not believe in the life to come] will not take it to heart unless God so wills: [for] He is the Fount of all God-consciousness, and the Fount of all forgiveness. 56
True are the words of God the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
